Privacy policy
This website is built to process as little data as possible. It sets no cookies, embeds no third-party services and does not track your behaviour.
No cookies, no tracking
No cookies are set and no analytics tools are used. There is no user account and no registration.
No connections to third parties
Fonts, maps, map tiles and all libraries are hosted on our own server. Opening the site creates no connection to Google, Meta or any other provider. Only when you click a link yourself – a route in your maps app, or an external website – do you leave our site.
Server logs
The web server records technically necessary information: IP address, time, the address requested, browser identification. These logs serve operation and security only and are deleted after a short period. They are not evaluated for advertising.
Getting in touch
If you write or call us, we use your details solely to deal with your request. There is no contact form on this website.
Donations
Donations run through your bank or through PayPal. Those providers process the resulting data under their own terms; from the bank we receive what we need for our accounts and for any donation receipt.
Your rights
Under the revised Swiss Data Protection Act you have the right to information, correction and deletion of your data. Please contact info@danbasel.ch.
